Andrew Calafato is a senior engineer at MuleSource Malta, and is currently leading the projects team. In the past he has been heavily involved in the development of multi-tier software systems and in the implementation and integration of network management systems.

Antoine Borg is a Mule consultant & contributor to the Mule project.
Antoine has 13 years experience in IT having worked for many years in the UK and more recently in Malta architecting and developing information management and integration solutions in finance, telephony, marketing, manufacturing and education both in the private and public sectors.
Introduced to Mule in mid-2006 and mentored by Ross Mason, MuleSource CTO and founder of the Mule project & Peter Delia, Ricston CEO, Antoine has since been working with enterprise customers delivering Mule consulting and training their enterprise integration requirements in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific region.

Dan Diephouse works for MuleSource and is an accomplished enterprise architect and open source developer who specializes in web services and service-oriented architecture. He is a co-founder of the Apache CXF services framework, founder of XFire, and a committer on several other open source projects, including Mule, Apache ServiceMix, Apache XmlSchema, and Jettison. He is also the founder of Envoi Solutions which is dedicated to providing support, training, and consulting around SOA and web services.

Dirk Olmes is a software engineer at MuleSource Inc. He has developed complex enterprise Java systems for more than ten years in various industries as travel, automotive and insurances.

Gerard Said is a lecturer at the MCAST ICT.
Gerard has three years of experience taking students through their first steps in Java at the MCAST ICT. Developing the curriculum based on BTEC requirements for second year national diploma and first year higher national diploma students is a challenging task which changes every year.
Apart from experience introducing students to Java, Gerry has also been involved in the setting up and administration of the MCAST ICT network, and has experience managing technologies as diverse as MySQL and SQL server, as well as multi user Oracle set-ups.
He has also been involved in several web development projects using open source CMS systems such as ASP Nuke and Post Nuke as well as Joomla and Wordpress.

Jean-Paul Ebejer is currently employed as a Technical Architect with Ixaris Systems. His responsibilities include; research, design and development, use of advanced Java tools and APIs, team leading on various internal projects, Java in-house training.
Prior to this Mr. Ebejer has held various Java consulting posts both locally and abroad. He has worked at IBM. He has also worked on various portal implementations.
Mr. Ebejer interests also include teaching Java. He has done this for the past five years, giving both academic courses and courses in industry. He has set up a website (http://www.javaclass.co.uk/phpBB2/) for his Java students where he answers queries and posts tutorials on a regular basis.
Mr. Jean Paul Ebejer is a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 (CX-310-055). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Malta. He has 10 years experience in Java.

Prior to founding MuleSource, Ross Mason was Chief Executive Officer of SymphonySoft Limited, an EU-based company providing services and support for large-scale integration projects. Previously, Mason was Lead Architect for RaboBank and played a key role in developing one of the first large-scale ESB implementations in 2002. Mason has also worked with NatWest Bank, Credit Suisse and UBS.
Mason founded the open source Mule project in 2003. Frustrated by integration "donkey work," Ross set out to create a new platform that emphasized ease of development and re-use of components. He started the Mule project to bring a modern approach, one of assembly, rather than repetitive coding, to developers worldwide.

Sandro Spina is an assistant lecturer at the department of Computer Science - University of Malta. Sandro has been active as researcher and lecturer for the past 4 years and currently lectures in computer graphics, compiling techniques and grammatical inference. He also acted as coordinator for the UoM Cisco Local Academy. Prior to this, he also led for three years the development of content driven services within a local telecommunications company.
Sandro holds a pass with distinction masters degree in Computer Science. The work undertaken in this degree was aimed at improving current techniques for machine learning. He has just started a doctoral degree within the Univeristy of Warwick on Computer Graphics.

His interests mainly revolve around Information Technology and Management including JavaEE, Opensource, Linux and technical teams performance improvement. Vince holds a BSc degree in Computing (University of Malta), MBA (Grenoble Graduate School of Business) and currently reading for an MSc in Applied Statistics (Sheffield Hallam University).
