Manage Project Members
As a project despot, you can approve or decline applications from Muleforge users who want Developer status on your project. You must review these applications carefully, since project Developers will by default be able to commit code to your Subversion repository, make changes to your Project Wiki, update resources to your M2/Downloads repositories, and access project Stats and other resources.
View Project Members
- Go to the homepage of your project.
- Click 'Project Members' in the left navigation bar under the 'Project Resources' heading.
Add New Members
- Go to the homepage of your project
- Click 'Project Members' from the left navigation bar under the 'Project Resources' heading.
- Type in the username, or part of it, in the text box provided within the 'manual' section.
- Click 'Search Users'.
- The username will be displayed below the text box with the option to click 'add developer' next to it.
 | Note that only users registered in MuleForge may be added as developers. For more information, read the Project Roles section. |
Alternatively, users may request membership themselves by clicking 'Apply to join as a developer' from the MuleForge ADMIN section. As a despot, you may approve or reject a user's membership request.
Approve/Reject Developer Membership
All users can freely view your project. Some may choose to 'Apply to join as developer' from within the ADMIN section of MuleForge, which will queue up a request for you to approve.
To approve or reject new developers:
- View project members.
- Click approve or reject beneath the username that will be listed under the 'Pending' section.
Promote Developers to Despot Status
There can be more than one despot for a project. To share your despot duties with a project developer, view project members and click 'Promote to Despot' which is found next to the username.
