New Despots Guidelines
- When a new MuleForge project is created, the despot will receive an email from the MuleForge Administration team.
- Follow the URL in the email to load your project's home page. Your project homepage along with all other pages in your space, is an editable Wiki page.
- Edit your Project Home Page to signal that work on your project has begun. Some common items that despots put on their homepage are a project description, installation instructions, usage instructions, and examples. Note that there are many standard links within the left navigation bar so you don't really need to repeat those again in the homepage.
- Add a new roadmap, components and versions to your JIRA Issue Tracker.
- Check out the template project which is in your project's Subversion repository. Find the URL from the left navigation bar from within your homepage: click 'Explained' under the 'Sources' heading and use the URL given under the 'Committer Access – WebDAV' (which uses https). The project's directory structure is explained in Project Repositories.
- When you have some code ready to be committed to the project's Subversion repository, check in your code.
- Add new developers to your project.
- Take time to look into your Bamboo build plan and familiarize yourself with the build reports. Read 'Project Build Plan (Bamboo)'.
